Does this work on Windows?
No. iMessage itself is macOS-only, so the desktop app runs on macOS. Windows and Android users can still sync via Gmail, LinkedIn, Zapier, and MCP.
Do you copy my messages to a server?
The app reads local message data and uploads it to your Relatable account, encrypted in transit and at rest. Your data lives in your database alongside your email and calendar data.
What about privacy with non-contacts?
Numbers you haven't categorized into a contact become "participants" — stored but not elevated to full profiles until you decide.
Does WhatsApp require anything extra?
WhatsApp conversations need to be accessible on your Mac (via WhatsApp Desktop or the Messages app). The desktop app reads what's there.
Will my whole message history sync, or just new messages?
Both. The first sync pulls your conversation history; subsequent syncs keep it current.
