Relatable can pull your network in from almost anywhere you already keep it. Here's every way in.

Why it matters

Your relationships aren't in one place. Some live in your inbox, some in LinkedIn, some in your phone, some only in a conversation you had last week. Relatable is only as useful as the people in it, so the more doors you open, the sooner it can start helping.

How it works

Each source works a little differently, but they all land in the same place: as uncategorized contacts Relatable hasn't organized yet. What you do with them from there is up to you.

How to use it

The ways in:

  1. Email and calendar. Once connected, everyone you email, everyone you meet with, and the address book of that Google or Microsoft account all come in as uncategorized contacts, suggested for you to review. Nothing gets added to a sphere until you decide it should be.
  2. LinkedIn. Connect your account and your connections come in with photos, titles, and companies.
  3. A spreadsheet. Upload a CSV and map your columns yourself, or let Relatable propose the mapping for you.
  4. Your phone's address book. In the mobile app's Settings, turn on Import phone contacts to bring in names, numbers, and emails.
  5. The desktop app (macOS), for iMessage, WhatsApp, calls, and SMS. It reads your Messages and call history and brings the conversations and phone book into Relatable.
  6. Meeting recorders. Connect a meeting recorder and every recorded meeting flows in, matched to the right contacts. Relatable supports a growing list, and you can always add notes from a meeting by hand instead.
  7. A photo of a business card. In Whiz, on mobile or web, attach the photo and it turns into a contact.
  8. Whiz, in your own words. Type a quick note or send Whiz a voice note describing who you met, and it creates the contact for you. Other AI tools you use can do the same thing directly, through Relatable's MCP connection.

Good to know

  • However they arrive, new people show up as uncategorized contacts, not full contacts yet.
  • Adding someone to a sphere is what makes them a full contact, with a profile, history, and a place in your stay-in-touch rhythm.
  • The desktop app for iMessage, WhatsApp, calls, and SMS is macOS only.
  • Meeting recorder support keeps growing; you're never limited to just one.
  • LinkedIn import needs your account connected once; after that it keeps itself current on its own.
