Export your contacts to a spreadsheet
Download all or filtered contacts as a spreadsheet, with a column for every field and every team owner.
Get your network out of Relatable and into a plain spreadsheet, whenever you need it outside the app.
Why it matters
Sometimes you need your contacts somewhere other than Relatable: a backup, a hand-off to a teammate who isn't on the platform yet, or just a file you can open and scan. Export gives you a complete, plain file with nothing locked away, and no work rebuilding it by hand if you ever need to move your network somewhere else.
How it works
Export builds a spreadsheet from your contacts, either everyone in your database or whatever you've currently filtered to. Every phone, email, address, link, and custom field gets its own labeled column, along with any special dates you've tracked. If you're on a team, you also get a column showing who owns each shared contact.
How to use it
- On the web: from the Database page, filter down to the people you want, or leave it as everyone, then start an export.
- Choose your scope: export either all contacts or your current filtered view.
- Wait for the email: the file builds in the background, and you get an email once it's ready to download.
Good to know
- Every phone, email, address, link, and custom field comes out as its own column, so the file drops cleanly into another spreadsheet or CRM without reformatting.
- On a team, the export includes a column per team showing who owns each shared contact.
- Filtering before you export is the difference between "everyone in Relatable" and "just this sphere." Set your filter first if you only want a subset.
- Special dates you've tracked, like birthdays, come out in the same file, so you're not exporting contacts and dates separately.
- For a version built specifically for holiday cards or a mail merge, with couples grouped into one row, see Export contacts for a mail merge or holiday cards.
