Save and reuse email templates

Build an email once with placeholders like {{ first_name }}, then reuse it every time you write to someone new.

Write a good email once, save it as a template, and Relatable fills in the details for whoever you're sending it to next.

Why it matters

The best line you'll ever write in a follow-up email usually gets written once, under a deadline, and then forgotten. A template keeps it. The next ten people who get that email get your best version, not whatever you can type in thirty seconds before a call.

Placeholders keep it from feeling copied. Because the template swaps in each recipient's own name, company, and details, the person on the other end still gets something that reads like you wrote it for them.

How it works

A template is a saved email body with a few placeholders in it: {{ first_name }}, {{ last_name }}, {{ company }}, {{ one_liner }}. When you use the template to send, Relatable replaces each placeholder with that recipient's real information before it goes out. The same template works whether you're writing to one person, sending it as a split message to many, or using it as a step in a Flow Sphere.

How to use it

  1. On the web: go to Account settings → Email Templates and start a new one, or write an email in the composer and click Save as template.2. Write the body and drop in placeholders where you want personalization. Attach any files you always send with it.
  2. Give it a clear name so you can find it later.
  3. Next time you compose an email, select the template. Relatable fills in the placeholders for that specific recipient before you send.
  4. Use the same templates inside split messages and Flow Sphere send steps, so a whole sequence stays consistent.

Good to know

  • Only four placeholders are supported: first_name, last_name, company, one_liner. Anything else you type in double braces gets stripped out when you save.
  • Templates can carry attachments — they go out with every email that uses the template.
  • Any email you've already sent can become a template afterward, right from the composer.
  • Relatable ships a few preset templates in every account as a starting point. Edit them freely.
