Ask Whiz for a draft, and it writes something grounded in what you actually know about the person — ready for you to edit and send.

Why it matters

A blank compose window is often the reason a message never goes out. A draft that already sounds reasonable and references something real removes that friction. Whiz gets you from "I should reach out" to "this just needs a once-over" in one request.

How it works

When you ask Whiz to draft an email, it pulls together what it knows about the contact or sphere — your notes, past interactions, their profile — and writes a subject and body that references something real rather than generic filler. For a sphere, it can draft one message with the personalization built in, sent as a Split message so each recipient sees only their own copy. The draft lands in the email composer rather than going out on its own; you always see it and approve it before it sends. You don't have to go through the Whiz panel to get there, either: the composer itself has an AI draft button, for both an individual email and a split message, where you describe what you want and pick a tone. With AI dossiers on, drafts can draw on the fuller picture Whiz keeps of the contact.

How to use it

  1. Ask Whiz directly, on web or mobile, naming the person or sphere: "Draft an email to Sid about the launch." Whiz replies with a suggested subject and body, and a link to open it in the composer.
  2. Or start from the composer: open a new email or split message, click AI draft, describe what you want, and pick a tone. Whiz fills in the subject and body right there — no trip to the Whiz panel needed.
  3. Either way, you land in a normal composer: edit the subject, body, recipients, or attachments — templates, inline images, and scheduling are all available.
  4. Send now, or schedule it for later.

Good to know

  • Whiz writes the draft; it never sends without you reviewing it in the composer first, unless you explicitly tell it to send.
  • A draft for a sphere goes out as a Split message — each person gets their own thread and their own personalization, not one group email.
  • The AI draft button works the same way whether you're writing to one person or a whole sphere, so you can get a personalized draft without leaving the composer.
  • The more Relatable knows about a contact — notes, past emails, meetings — the more specific the draft. A thin contact gets a thinner draft.
  • You can save any draft, Whiz-written or not, as a reusable template from the composer.
  • Relatable caps outgoing email at 300 per user per day.
