Why it matters
Some relationships aren't yours alone to manage. An investor conversation, a client relationship, a hiring process, someone else needs visibility into the same sphere, without you exporting a spreadsheet or copy-pasting updates every week.
Sharing also lets you bring in people outside your own team: a co-founder, an outside recruiter, a collaborator on a project, without handing them the keys to your whole account. You decide what they see and whether they can touch it.
How it works
There are three ways to share a sphere: with one specific person by email invitation, with your whole team at once, or with anyone at all through a share link. Whichever way you use, the recipient sees the sphere alongside their own spheres, at whichever access level you set. With write access, they can add contacts and make changes, including dragging cards on a shared Pipeline, and those changes reflect back for you too.
How to use it
- On the web: open the sphere you want to share and choose the option to share it.
- Pick how you want to share it: enter a specific person's email to invite them directly, share it with your whole team if you're on one, or generate a link that anyone can use to open the sphere.
- Pick an access level: read basic, read full, or write.4. For a direct invite or a team share, the recipient gets an email inviting them in, and the sphere shows up in their own account alongside theirs. For a share link, anyone who opens it gets in at the access level you chose, no invitation email needed.
- Revoke access any time from the same sharing settings. The sphere disappears from their view, but nothing is deleted from yours.
Good to know
- Read basic gives a lighter view than read full, so a collaborator who only needs the gist doesn't see everything you do.
- Write access lets the other person add contacts and edit the sphere itself, not just view it.
- You can share the same sphere more than one way at once — a link for anyone, plus a direct invite for someone who needs write access.
- A share link works differently from a direct or team share: anyone who has the link gets in at the level you set, so treat it the way you'd treat any other credential.
- Sharing a sphere doesn't require the recipient to be on your team. An outside collaborator works the same way.
